Voting Deadlines and Locations
Early in-person voting: Now through Saturday, October 31st, at the Waynesboro Registrar’s Office, 501 W Broad St, (540) 942-6620, M-F 9am-1pm, 2-5pm. Drive-through voting available.
Election Day: November 3rd at your ward’s polling location.
Not sure where to vote? You can easily determine your ward and polling location online or by calling the Waynesboro Registrar’s Office (540) 942-6620.
Not registered? Need to change your address? Need a ballot to be mailed to you? You can do all that through October 23rd at your registrar’s office or online at the Virginia Citizen Portal.
Help Us Get Out the Vote and Protect Democracy
I’m just a regular person. What can I do?
A lot, actually
Vote and talk to others about voting for candidates who listen to constituents, who believe in democracy, who won’t sit idly by while autocrats take over our government.
Donate to the Democratic candidates of your choice and to the Waynesboro Democratic Committee. Every dollar counts.
Canvass. We’ll be knocking doors every weekend through November 3rd. We work in pairs in the neighborhood of your choice. Connect with Waynesboro Democrats, get the word out on our candidates, and get out the vote. Canvassing is our most effective tool for fighting DC corruption and protecting Democracy.
Display yard signs and post literature. Pick them up at our office.
Work in the office. We can always use your help greeting visitors, organizing paperwork, distributing yard signs, and more.
Phone/text/postcard campaigns. Stop by the office to learn more about our next campaign to raise awareness and get out the vote.
Drive voters to the polls. Lots of folks don’t have wheels or need a little extra help getting places. Your ride ensures their voice is heard.
Greet voters on Election Day. We distribute sample ballots, provide information on our candidates, point new voters to the right place, and keep an eye out for any improper tactics or intimidation.
Join the Waynesboro Democratic Committee. Stop by headquarters or come to a monthly meeting.
