Voting Rights Restoration

Virginians who have been convicted of a felony and are no longer incarcerated are eligible to apply to have their voting rights restored. You can check your status online, call the Secretary of the Commonwealth Restoration of Rights Division at 804-692-0104, or submit a paper application.

Vote by Mail (Vote Absentee)

You can apply online to vote by mail in one election or to be added to the permanent absentee list so that you will automatically receive a mail-in ballot for all future elections. (You can also apply with this paper form and submit that to the registrar.)
