Who Will Lead the Waynesboro Democrats for the Next Two Years? Could it be you?

How the Waynesboro Democrats Are Organized-

The Waynesboro Democratic Party has three levels of participation:

All Democrats – Anyone who considers themselves a Democrat is a member of the Party.

The Committee – A governing body of up to 20 elected members who make decisions on behalf of the larger group.

Officers – Four leadership positions elected by the Committee: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.

 Why We Hold a Caucus

Every two years, local Democratic Committees in Virginia are required to hold a caucus. This process allows members to:

                 Elect Committee members and Officers

                 Affirm or change leadership

Bring in fresh ideas and perspectives

You have the power

Work with us to build a better Waynesboro for you and your family! There’s a better way to govern—an honest, effective, and fair way—and we’ll get there if we work together to

  • Protect the democratic process and voting rights

  • Elect candidates who share our values and put them into practice every day

  • Help everyone be heard

From affordable housing and healthcare, fair economic growth, equal justice for all, and safe schools to reliable roads & bridges and clean soil, air, & water, our priorities are to build a better community for everyone in Waynesboro, no matter their party.
